I am currently looking for graduate students to work in the area
of Computational Systems Biology. The mission of my research lab is to develop
ANALYSIS + DESIGN tools based on machine learning to advance designing biology.
Our tools provide insight into complex biological systems. They also enable
building novel biological components to produce useful chemicals and
therapeutics. Your background in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
or Bioinformatics will provide a solid base to contribute to this emerging and
growing field. Interest in Biology is a must, but no background is required.
The candidate should be among the top 10-15% within her or his
graduating class. GRE and TOEFL (if appropriate) scores are required. A minimum
TOFEL score of 100 is required. Applicants with a master's degree and/or
industrial experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Tufts University is among the smallest universities to have been
nationally ranked as a "Research Class 1" University. The
campus is beautiful.
