We are seeking for a Computer Science master student with interest in biology to join the Conesa lab from Microbiology and Cell Sciences on a computational biology project. The project deals with the creation of a functional annotation pipeline using Snakemake. We required advanced skills in Python, JavaScript and working under the Hipergator environment. Knowledge of public biological databases is recommended. We are offering an 15-20 hours/week OPS position.
