Advanced Oral Proficiency (non-credit):
The
purpose of this course is to diagnose student fluency problems in English and
to introduce self-practice methods and online resources to aid students
interested in advancing their oral language proficiency. While not
intended as a SPEAK Test preparation course, a commitment to improving spoken
fluency in English may result in an improved assessment on oral proficiency
tests. Students will exit the course more aware of their individual
fluency challenges and with a clear idea about how to make progress on their
own.
The Fall B Advanced Oral Proficiency class will begin Monday,
October 26, 2020 and will end Wednesday, December 9, 2020, with no classes the
week of Thanksgiving.
The
six-week synchronous
Zoom class will meet three hours a week from 1:55

The
last day to request enrollment or drop the class will be Wednesday, October 28,
2020.
